Web-Site Stats
Some of our latest figures show just how well this site has developed since its launch ten months ago.
We now have more than 35,000 regular ‘readers’ and have achieved hit rates of over 10,000 per day. Last month the site was visited almost 150,000 times, breaking our previous monthly record! (and we’ve started this month well too, with our largest ever daily increase in new visitors!)
Since our move to new hosts we have been able to glean much more information about how our visitors use this site.
We can now tell which of our pages are visited most often and which day, and what time of day, is most popular for logging on. It seems the only time when absolutely no-one is online is around 2.30am on a Wednesday morning!
The site is now being visited in no less than nine countries, we had no idea word would spread so far but we are, of course, delighted. |

Google Ratings
Our first showing in Google’s listings was in February of last year, at 61! Since then we’ve been rising steadily and are now most often found somewhere between 3 and 10 depending on the exact search terms used. (which, out of nearly half a million entries, ain’t bad!!) And this month we’ve even earned an increase to our tiny page-ranking!
For a home-made, amateur site this is very gratifying and a tribute to the loyalty and support of all the James Martin fans who have found us. Thank-you!! |
